"Godly Women Out of History"

“Their candles have gone out but their lights still shine.”

The program, written and directed by Marcella Hansen of Cyrus, is to be a challenge not only to women but also to men and children of all faiths.

“Godly Women Out of History” presents the lives of twelve women whose faith had an impact on the world.  The program incorporates narration, readings, music and costumes.

The 90-minute program culminates in a candle lighting ceremony symbolizing the lives of these women of the past.  “Their candles have gone out but their lights continue to shine”.

A great presentation to close out our convention!  A call to each of us for a deeper commitment to Jesus Christ.  It was wonderful to see those of all ages involved.  A challenge to us all to be faithful and be a light in God’s Kingdom.
