Mission

Providing and capturing the imagination of youth through playful learning in a Christian atmosphere.

Saint James Christian Preschool was established in 1973.  We promote child development, fostering the growth of a child's natural interests, and encourage participation in the world around them. 

Our school puts great emphasis on play.  Play enhances language skills, large and fine motor skills, social and emotional skills and problem solving.  Within the context of play, the children learn basic Kindergarten readiness skills.  It is important for young children to have FUN WHILE LEARNING! 

All classes learn the importance of routine with playing, cleaning up, circle time, washing up for snack time, table time and time for goodbye.    Christian values are an important part of our curriculum planning.  Teaching basic readiness skills is a priority because we feel this gives the child a firm foundation for life.

Whole Language Themes are explored, using all senses.  Grace is prayed before snack time, informal prayers are offered when someone is sick or in need.   Bible stories are told and Christian Holidays are celebrated along with traditional and national holidays.   Chapel is held once a month led by Pastor Paul.

2 Year Old Program (a.m. or p.m.)
Half Day - $90.00 		Full Day - $190.00
3 Year Old Program (a.m. or p.m.)
Half Day, Mon/Wed/Fri - $150.00		 Full Day, Mon/Wed/Fri - $250.00
Full Day Mon/Fri - $350.00
4 Year Old full-day program  Full Day Mon/Fri - $360.00
   

Ask for details about extended care.  Your child must be 2, 3, or 4 years old by September 1st for class placement.


Prices quoted above are effective for the 2008 - 2009 school year.

2 Year Old Class - Tues & Thurs Half Day - 9 to 11:30 am OR
12:30 - 3 pm - Full Day - 9 - 3:00 pm


3 Year Old Class - Mon/Wed/Fri - Half Day - 9-11:30 am OR
12:30-3 pm - Mon/Fri Full Day - 9-3:00 pm


4 Year Old Class - Mon/Fri - 9 am - 3 pm

Extended care hours are available - 8 am - 6 pm -(with sufficient amount of students enrolled)

Enrollment in Saint James Christian Preschool is limited.  Applications are considered in the order in which they are received.  Priority will be given to current students who enroll prior to open registration.
