Our “family” here at St. James benefits from all the diverse people and variety of ideas expressed in our growth. We have become an accepting and loving church. New members over and over say they were drawn to St. James by our friendliness and belief in the Holy Spirit as a moving force.
Paul writes in 1 Corinthians chapter 12 about our unity. Just as a hand or foot or mouth or ear is important to a human body, each person and his or her characteristics is important in the body of Christ, the church. Who wants a church made up of all hands and all feet? We are important. Each of us plays his or her own role. Together there is unity in our diversity. Or is that diversity in our unity?
The goal and theme of our ministry is 'Building Bridges'. Stay tuned as we develop some more fun and exciting ideas that we will share with you as the year unfolds.
