With 82 years in the community and numbering over 1,000 baptized members, Saint James is a growing community church serving the Lord Jesus Christ. Its pastor, the Reverend Paul A. Andell is a graduate of Gettysburg Seminary and is entering his 36th year of ministry at Saint James.

Pastor Paul can be contacted during this schedule Monday through Thursday. If you have a message or concern, please call within office hours at the church office number above. If you cannot call within the hours noted above, an answering machine will take your calls after office hours.

Welcome to Bible 101. Our Bible Studies are every Monday at 10:00 a.m. in the Seitter-Petersen Room. We are studying our way through the Bible, join us!
If you haven't been able to participate in worship due to sickness or other health issues, please contact the church office. We make every attempt to keep informed of those who are dealing with illness, but sometimes just a call from you or a friend helps us to know about a need. Your church does care about you!
If you are hospitalized and wish a visit from a Stephen Minister or Pastor, call the church office at 215.743.1828.
Additional Teachers and assistants are needed for Sunday's Saint James Kids School. Can you Help? See Mary Kenny, Carol Sickles or Pastor Paul!
Saint James Kids is a weekly learning experience for children 3 years and older. Children stay through the opening part of the 9:20 service and then, at the "Peace", are invited to go to class.
Join us at the Gathering Place. Social and culinary refreshment is offered every Sunday morning between services in the cloakroom area.
AID FOR FRIENDS is a meals program to homebound folks. Saint James is a contributing church. If you can help in any way, please contact the church office.
We will be collecting canned and dry goods for the needy. The table at the back of the narthex is our collection site for non-perishables. Most will be delivered to distribution centers. Linda Schafer of Sainte James will be our 'point person'. You can contact her through the church office.

Saint James Christian Preschool
Serving the Northwood community since 1973
Registrations are being accepted for the upcoming fall program. We teach and care for children 2, 3, and 4 years of age. Half-day, full-day and/or extended hours are offered. Call 215.743.2414 to register your child or for more information.
Acme Register Tapes
Saint James receives a percentage from participating markets so please save your receipts. Put them in the designated box at the back of the church or send them to the office. KEEP THEM COMING!! Thanks!!
"Go Green" with Saint James
Saint James now recycles all papers, cans and any recyclable materials. Containers are located in the Castor hallway. Get Involved.
"Bowling Anyone?"
The Greater Philadelphia Protestant Bowling league is organizing for the fall. They are asking whether Saint James would like to have either a team or individuals who would care to join existing groups. Call the office if you are interested
