Our Members & Friends

Our doors are open to you so our members and friends may welcome you into our services and activities!  Each and every person is very important to us.  Many of us have come from Lutheran and Catholic origins, while many new members have come from a variety of Christian & other faiths.  We have a common bond of sharing the Peace of the Lord in our hearts.

We love music in our services from our Saturday 5:30 Folk-Rock CAYA: Come As You Are members to our updated E.L.C.A. Lutheran Liturgical Sunday Service at 10:00 a.m. where members gather for a 9:30 a.m. Coffee Chat before service.  We are blessed by the musical talents of our Pastor Tim Larson, and his family in our services and he often brings other musicians into our Saturday Services where keyboards and guitars join with our members in a joyous expression of our faith.

We are a neighborhood community center for Bible Study, Dinners, and Special Events.  Check our Calendar of Events each month. We share our many rooms with other groups, including a new church, In Truth Ministries of Southfield, and Agape Church of Roseville.  We also provide space for a number of 12 Step groups that have found us a good place to be at home and talk with one another.  And for your better well being, a Yoga Class meets on Fridays at 6:30p.m.  Check with our office Wed. through Friday  if you wish to have contact information for these independent groups.  Church Office: (248) 642-7047

Our members & friends come from all walks of life and live in our central city neighborhoods of Southfield, Beverly Hills, Birmingham, Berkley, Royal Oak and Farmington.  All are welcome.

We are fortunate to enjoy among us, our charter members who designed and built our church in 1955 and continue to serve actively in our congregation, from building needs to sharing our Peace of the Lord with newcomers. Their peace shows us the way of God's Stewardship in our lives as we grow in knowledge and peace.   Collectively, we make up Peace Lutheran Church Community, a community of love and service to our Lord.

Come in and meet us!  Add your talents, help us grow and create a new generation of Peace.
